Start Your Pest Control Career

Not everyone starts with a licence, and that's okay. Our traineeship program is designed for people who are reliable, willing to learn, and ready to work. You'll shadow experienced technicians, learn on the job, and work toward your Certificate III in Urban Pest Management and your QLD Pest Management Technician licence. We pay you while you train, and we cover your course costs.

Salary Range
$50,000 – $60,000 (during training) → $65,000+ once licensed

What you'll do:

  • Shadow experienced technicians on pest control and termite inspections
  • Assist with general pest treatments (internal and external)
  • Learn to use professional equipment including thermal cameras and Termatrac radar
  • Help with termite barrier installations under supervision
  • Complete your Certificate III in Urban Pest Management (we pay for it)
  • Progress toward your QLD Pest Management Technician licence

What you'll need:

  • No pest control experience required — we train you from scratch
  • Valid driver's licence (QLD)
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Physically fit for outdoor, roof void, and subfloor work
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Must be 17 years or older (QLD licensing requirement)
